I feel like Cinderella.....

I want to go the party, but I have nothing to wear. You've GOT to check out this party.
There are such great ideas for decorating, and not one of them is mine. But since the party will happen every week for a very long time, I might have a chance to come up with something. Or at least copy some great pictures off of other people's websites. :) Here's what IS on my mantel right now.

No, the gladiator isn't on my mantel, but the Nerf guns are. If he wants to sit there though, I'd probably let him . ;) And a few of these.....somehow no one knows how to put these back in a drawer after church. So go check out the party and be inspired. I'll be here hoping my fairy godmother comes by and gives me a hand.

Are you hoping for a Fairy Godmother or the gladiator? Actually, he kind of scares me. I'm glad you linked up because you're funny :). Good luck with getting the nerf pellets and belts off your mantel.

I can't keep up with these ladies either. No mantel blogging here either... but I am gonna get my game face on for a linky party coming up!

I did a double-take at first wondering if a gladiator figurine was a part of your decor ;-) If you ever find a solution to belts being left in odd places, do let me know - we have a similar problem! MIKI

Haha! Sometimes the empty surfaces in my house get piled up with stuff too! Maybe next week you'll have your mantle all to yourself!

I am going to the party for great advice and ideas and to keep all those non~mantel related items OFF the mantel. Give it a shot next week!!

He looks kind of like our governor, doesn't he? I have two 9yo boys, and a 20 and 21 yo son too. Even my girls get into it.I find nerf guns and darts all over the house. Belts not so much, but I don't know why they can't pick up those darts. I also made the mistake of getting them ping-pong ball shooters for Christmas. What was I thinking? Loved your post.
Blessings,
Marcia
